Fannie's capital better than market perceptions: Lehman
Reuters) - Fannie Mae's (FNM.N) capital and reserves positions are better than market expectations, and the biggest U.S. mortgage finance company may not need any more externally raised capital, according to an analyst at Lehman Brothers.

British home builder Taylor Wimpey posts huge loss
LONDON (AFP) - Home builder Taylor Wimpey said Wednesday that it suffered a massive first-half net loss of 1.419 billion pounds because of "challenging" housing markets in Britain, Spain and the United States.
